BRI’s vision is a world where innovative medicine enables a second chance at life. By extending the window of time in which a person can be brought back to life and improving their recovery, BRI seeks to unite hyperbaric medicine and emergency medicine in order to save lives that are outside the reach of current medical techniques.

BRI’s mission is to advance the field of hyperbaric oxygen medical research to create new treatments that will bring otherwise hopeless patients back to life and help them recover from catastrophic injuries.

Specifically, BRI leverages its unique capabilities in intra-resuscitation hyperbaric oxygen to extend the window of opportunity for successful resuscitation with fewer complications than other methods; to improve resuscitation outcomes where additional complications such as burns, exsanguination (bleed out) or crush injuries are present; and to recover from traumatic brain injury, burns and other catastrophic injuries through ongoing treatment.
